Somatic Movement

Sound healing is an effective therapy that utilizes a variety of healing sounds, music, and sound healing instruments to improve well-being, decrease stress, improve sleep all by facilitating a beautiful experience where all dimensions of energy fields (body, mind, soul, spirit) are awakened gently and lovingly. These sessions may be booked separately and as a part support of coaching or counseling services.

Breathing is integral to our life force. Did you know that 90 percent of our energy comes from oxygen,

the other 10 percent comes from our food intake? It is vital to learn techniques of intentional and

healing breathing to support improved mental health functioning, cognition and overall physical health. I lead and teach breathwork as a supportive skill to ongoing therapy services. Breathwork is also coupled with meditation practices as well. 

Somatic movement is intentional movement aimed at focusing on your internal state as opposed to anyexternal experience. Simply put, somatic movement is geared towards healing and soothing emotional states like stress, anxiety and many other experiences. Examples of somatic movement are gentle stretching, yin yoga, dance, walking, qi gong, tai chi and many other modalities. Similarly, these movement exercises are taught as a part of therapy and coaching services.
