About Me

I am deeply committed and passionate about the healing that happens in the therapy room. I am very grateful that I can do this work. It’s my belief that we can heal ourselves through compassionate curiosity and self-reflection which leads to self-awareness and growth. It is my job to hold space and create a sacred container for you to explore and process your feelings and experiences. I approach therapy with clarity, an open mind and hope.

In my fifteen years of practice, I’ve developed an integrated approach to treatment that involves a range of modalities including but not limited to: cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, Inner child healing/shadow work, metaphysics, somatic movement, mindfulness, breath work, meditation breathwork techniques and yoga. I provide a relational approach also specializing inintergenerational healing from a womanist, sex positive, multicultural perspective. If you are looking to intentionally begin or continue a healing path, then I invite you to reach out. I support empaths, highly sensitives as well as other healers on their wellness paths.

My Experience

I graduated from Columbia University School of Social Work in 2011, specializing in Advanced Clinical Practice. I interned at The Hebrew Home for the Aged in Riverdale. NY supporting older adults and honing my empathic listening skills. My second internship was at St. Luke's Hospital, in Harlem, NY working with children and their caregivers in therapy. After graduation, for the next eight years I worked as an individual and couples therapist in various capacities. I've gained training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and many other therapeutic modalities. In 2019, I established my own private practice, Grace and Resilience Counseling and Wellness, where I continue to provide online therapy. Each experience has shaped my career and prepared me for the work I do today.
